If this already exsists just tell me about it. But personally if you have missed a day and an area has more than one Topic, it can be easy to miss people's topics and I bet none of us want people to have to go without any replies.

(((dixiefireball))) I no that is a way to do it. But I think most people go to the lightbalbs of new posts, active topics and most recent visitors. We assume that if the light balb is on that it is about the one showing there, even though there may be others.
I wasn't saying this happened to me, but I have noticed that if there is more than one new topic in an area it is a lot less likely you get many posts.
(((Zookeeper))) If I understand your question correctly you want to know how to view your own recent posts and if someone responded. Click on your name, (if your signed in it should be at the top) and then above your profile click view recents posts, from there you can click on whatever subject you want to view possilbe replies in. I hope that is what you wanted to know, I wasn't sure.
Thanks guys for replying. I don't know if it is a good idea or not, but I think it would appreciate it. hiFaith, Hope, and Love,

I click on "Today's Active Topics" and it lists all topics posted on for that day.Kim
Diagnosed August 2001
Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)
Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)
I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.

At this moment the last thing listed on active topics was from 11-03-2003 01:10 PM . It is 11-4-03-at 6:05. , That isn't much more than one day worth, and thats all it takes to be gone. Maybe I wasn't understood but I use it, "Today's Active Topics" feature. I still see people not getting replies, by the time I see it, I look at when they posted it, and feel it is way gone. Even if you don't miss a day here, you can miss things just because there is so much to look at. Yet If we are trying to take care of each other, I think we should do what we can to prevent people from ending up with no replies, when they really need them. Once a topic isn't active anymore, (listed into Today's Active Topics) it is unlikely it will get replies. Sometimes just saying I hope you get an answer to an unactive topic, gets it a lot more replies. I know people use that, and think people would also use a thing saying "still in need of replies", for the topics that haven't gotten one yet.
I just think it would help us help us help each other.
I also think it might be nice to keep something listed there until it has 2 or 3 replies.
Some topics are difficult for people to respond to because it is out of their area of knowledge, to have a place like that would hlep people get the help they need.Faith, Hope, and Love,
Katrina

Hi Katrina--
I think you have a good idea, but at the same time, board moderators are supposed to keep track of the boards to make sure that there aren't any posts that go unanswered. I agree, some posts get left in the dust, and that's something that's going to happen on a message board of this size.
I usually just go into topics that I can be useful in, and try to see if there are any posts that I can help out in. Maybe ya'll can figure out a way to fix this problem.
Hugs,
JessMommy to 2 crazy, wonderful kids and wife to the most amazing man in the world!Comment
