Just a few random ideas

I've been sitting here, picking my brain, and I thought of something: how about something for IC trivia? Or what about theories of what causes IC?

Since we have nothing else to do on a Saturday night, I vote for the autoimmune theory. A special toxin in the bladder gets my second vote. Allergies get my third vote.

I don't have any allergies, but I do think that it might be autoimmune. My other vote might be for genetics. My father has all the symptoms of IC but no pain, he's had it for most of his life and I've had IC symptoms for most of mine, so I'm thinking genetics might play a factor.

I do have allergies, but I also had a very massive infection when I was 6 in that area. Not in the bladder itself but around it in the cavity. I did start having bladder symptoms as a child and diagnosed when I was almost 17.
