Sorry, guys, I actually am a computer scientist, but I almost never take the time to scroll all the way down here and look at this thread. (Except for the one absolutely humiliating moment when I had to post my own question -- which I ended up solving myself anyway. Turned out to be browser incompatibility: IC has an ability to maintain state in a particular situation where Mozilla does not.)
I will try to be a better geek, and spend more time down here, because I think I can probably be helpful, and I haven't been. It seems like my "inner geek" (I call him "Nimrod Pointdexter;" computer geeks, of course, have to have male inner spirits, LOL) has been receding further and further inside, ever since I stopped working
Also, feel free to PM me on computer problems, if you want any point of U.S. Constitutional history or interpretation explained, or if you need anything tanslated into of from French. Those are my three areas of expertise, and yes, thank you, I am aware that it's a fairly weird group of skills. I also used to coach springboard diving -- what can I say? I'm either a genius, a nutcase, or just someone with a pretty short attention span. I lean toward number three.
