I feel the same way also. I am beat. I was gonna have Easter Dinner here but just called my sister and said I can't do this tom so she is calling mom and if mom doesn't have it at her house then I guess we won't have Easter because of me.

I'm also glad it's over again for you. Try not to worry about how far they were able to distend your bladder --- I know I have had at least one where they could only go to 400+ cc, but others where they got to 800. I have no idea why.

I am doing pretty good as I am an old pro at this. I am still hurting some but I have to heal before I can feel the benefits. I am just glad it is over, like you all said!!!

Wow! What a day you had! That must have been very unnerving! At least it is over now, and hopefully you will be able to get some rest this weekend. I hope that you will get alot of relief from it.

Hi All,
Well I got to the hospital this am for my hydrodistention. First off they had the parking lot we were supposed to use blocked off and made us park wayyyyy far away in another garage.

Then as we walked to the registration area, we see like 8 fire trucks and they say there is a situation in the hospital............................hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so I am thinking what kind of a situation and do I EVEN want a procedure done here today??? Also what the heck is going on here??? No one would say anything.

So we proceeded and they said that every thing was fine then and my surgery was a go but they had cancelled prior surgeries. Seems some people got sick in the elevator and on a certain floor of the hospital and they were thinking someone had brought in sometime of biological warfare!!! Come to find out it was an ammonia leak from an ice machine!!!!!! What a mess!!

So everything got backed up and I got my hydro but ended up waiting awake and ready to go in recovery for over 3hrs!!!URGGGGGGG I was about to take out my own IV and leave!!! I know it was not the workers fault but if they had of called me prior, I would have def had it another day!!

Glad it is over even though my bladder has shrank 300cc.
