Just went for a pee (my 3rd since the cysto 5.5 hrs ago) and noticed a bit of fresh blood (not a lot )on the toilet paper. It is coming from my urethra. Can this happen? Yikes! I'm so sick of this!!

Did you have a hydrodistention along with the cysto? If so, it's not unusual to have some bleeding for a day or two.

I had some bleeding after mine also. The dr. said it was from the injections he had given me. It cleared up by that evening.Comment

Donna, I didn't have the hydrodistension, just the cysto.
The bleeding appears to have subsided this morning. Hopefully that's the end of it now
