    Cystogram??

    Due on 5th January!! has anybody had this?? apparently having a catheter fitted and filled with water and dye as you lie on an x-ray bed!! then when you are full and probably in agony they tilt the bed to a standing position and ask you to void whilst standing!! this sound easy but i guess having to void whilst being x-rayed and viewed may be a bit intimidating!! I then have the agony of another 3 weeks before i see the specialist with the results!! Just had another "white pus cells results from a urine culture!! what does this mean?? keeps coming up each time i send a sample in!!

    am having really bad pain in the kidney just now on xmas day too!!

      White pus cells are usually an indication of infection. Are you being treated for infection?

      The cystogram is not bad at all.

              Yes i am being treated for infection as with the urine stuck in the kidneys it just keeps flaring!! my query really is WHY is the urine backing up into the kidney?? what causes it maybe the bladder?? all these questions and little answers untill i see the specialist and even then they dont give stright answers its so frustrating.

                  there is something called reflux condition that can happen in the ureters. Basically, the ureter muscle is not closing/opening when it should and urine backs up into the kidneys. Im not sure about all the symptoms but check it out online. Good luck
