  • Bladder Cell Research for Urine Marker Test

    I just received the latest IC Newsletter from Oklahoma University in OK City, and there is a short blurb on bladder cell research that I thought I'd share with everyone:

    Bladder Cell Research at OU Health Science
    ==========================================
    Dr. Culkin wants the readers to know that IC basic science research is progressing. IC cells and DNA groups are being grown in tissue cultures with the hope of developing a urine test for detection of IC and also to monitor treatments success. A huge thanks to all who have donated tissue for this research. Also, we are grateful to the researchers who are making this a priority. We are very grateful.
