A hysteroscopy is a procedure where a thin telescope is inserted through the cervix into the uterus allowing the Dr to view the uterus.
A hydro--I'll assume you're referring to a hydrodistention of the bladder--is a procedure that stretches the bladder using a fluid solution allowing the Dr a better view of the bladder than what a simple cystoscope provides.
