  • Pelvic trauma and lifting...????

Did anyone else begin having problems after doing something physically out of the ordinary?

For me, I was on vacation. I jet skiied, and after we returned, I was moving a ton of heavy boxes.

So far, the closest diagnosis I have had is PFD.

Thanks, guys and gals! I feel so loved here.

    Maria

Vitamin D and B, Green smoothies, infrared sauna use, walking, cleansing, still seeking doctors to help find THE CAUSE of this--autoimmune or infection.

It is very possible that you pulled some pelvic muscles during all that activity. What have they suggested for you as treatment? Some find physical therapy very helpful. I hope you are finding some relief.

I have IC and PFD and it just hit me like a brick wall. I woke up one day and had this horrible pain, worse than a UTI and a bit different. I knew something wasn't right but it took a little over a month to get a diagnosis. I was fortunate that my GP had a suspicion that I had IC and sent me to a uro early on.

    Welcome to the ICN.

I can't do any heavy lifting without bladder pain --- even if I'm not flaring.

I can't lift anything heavy. I lifted a little boy who weight about 35 pounds 2 days ago and I felt it.

          Lifting and PFD

          Sandra,

Thanks for your response. I am set to go see a PT and am hoping that some therapy will help in the midst of possibly finding a diagnosis.

Right now, I'm babying the area with heat and that seems to help some. I rode the jet ski and had frequency after (2 days) then it went away. This was July. Then, we moved all through July into September. The frequency came and went, but then it came back with a vengeance in early October.

So, it could be many things...we'll see.

          How are you feeling?
