what is the name of the test where the doc looks inside the bladder in his
    doctor's office.

Can this cause bladder pain that wont go away?

I am in another flair with blood in urine so I am going to my uro monday.

I think you're talking about a cystoscopy. When I had one done last summer, I took Pyridium, muscle relaxant, and a pain medicine, about an hour before the test & that helped. The doctor also gave me an antibiotic to prevent infection afterwards. An in-office cystoscopy doesn't usually show IC, but it does show other bladder problems, so urologists do them to rule out other conditions. I hope you feel better soon,
