  • Your opinion?

In your opinion, how can I know if I am dealing with menopausal urinary issues or mild IC?

Any and all thoughts are welcomed. Thanks!

The only way I know to be diagnosed is to work with a urologist.

You could give the IC diet a try while waiting for the appointments.

Thanks Donna. I have tried the IC diet and food does not seem to affect me one way or another.

I did also see a urologist and 2 gyn's. The uro said that it did not sound like IC to him and to have my estrogen levels checked, which I did. I had ZERO estrogen in my body. I felt better after starting on estrogen (vagifem) but I still have issues. The 2 gyn's said what I am experiencing isn't normal, but did not have any answers for me.

That is why I am really confused as to what I am dealing with.

      Any more thoughts?

My mild flares feel like a UTIs, and they last months or days.
