So I've been to the Urogynoclogist, and I'm still a little confused.
Basically he said he can't rule out IC yet, but it's a "very low probability" that I have it.... apparently my pain is a little too high to be bladder pain. He told me to get back to the gastrolgist and get a Colonoscopy (yay for me!
), and if everything checks out fine see him again in 3 months and he will schedule me for a cystoscopy hydrodistention. He says that right now he's reluctant to put me through this particular procedure. Oh-Kay dude.
In the mean time he suggested the ic diet and prescribed me a low dose of Elavil.
