Some people do, some people don't. I ONLY have this symptom (not urgency, frequency or anything else, really) and am still considered to have IC.

My Doc refused to give me an official diagnosis of IC because "burning" was the only one-single symptom I did not report - so, after I did my research on IC, I was dumbfounded as to why?

Urthral buring is my worst symptom and I've been dealing with this for 24 years.

I had the burning but could never quite figure out if it was actually coming from the urethra or the bladder.
