  • BPS without OAB?

Hi everyone I have a question , is it possible to have BPS (suprapubic area) without the OAB that is mostly diagnosed for those with IC? My only bladder symptom is incapcitating sudden slicing , shooting and stabbing pain middle of lower pelvic in the suprapubic area . I cannot find anyone else with my symptoms who are being treated. My urogyno diagnosed me with BPS after my hysterectomy last year .Terrible pain that sent me to the hospital and several trips to the urogyn. Then it seemed to have settled and now 7 months later that horrid pain is returning! It doubles me over and its so quick and sharp I break out in cold sweats .Thanks so much

I may be having a senior moment -- what do the letters BPS stand for?
