Hi Rhonda.... hi Have you had your blood sugar checked lately? People have excessive thirst and wetting accidents at the onset of diabetes...not to scare you and say that's what it is, but could be a possibility. Please check with your doc asap. Best of luck to you. grouphug

Rhonda, sorry to read what you are going through right now. I wonder if our bladders get weaker sometimes with all the effects of our IC. I know I have to be careful when bedtime comes around. I do wear a pad to bed just to make sure, because that has happened to me a couple of times recently, especially when that bug was going around. Hope you can find some answers, I know I am going to check with my uro at my check up in a couple of months. Keep us posted as to how you are doing. I know it has not happened to me since I was little, so I am wondering about a weaker bladder. Take care and hugs Iris hi grouphug

            Hi Rhonda,

Sorry you are having such a rough go. I was thinking, could it be your pelvic floor muscles? Maybe they have weakened? Good luck, let us know what you find out!

            Hugs and love,

I did the same thing several times. I don't know what meds you are on but apparently my problem was I was taking my antidepressant and valium right before bed and according to my uro I was just to knocked out to realize I had to go. I don't get home from work till after midnight so I would just take them then now i take them right before I leave work and it hasn't happened since. Hope this gives you some ideas.

              Success

My first thought is to wonder if your current problem is from medications. I know I was taking cardura for blood pressure when I developed a wetting problem. When I stopped the cardura, the problem went away.

You might want to check all of your medications to be sure that isn't your problem.

                  Warm hugs,
                  Donna
