Pressure is something I deal with alot and since I have started taking AZO and Prelief before each meal with a glass of water I feel better. I have noticed a big difference. Of course when I am in alot of pain, only pain pills help on those days.
Hope you get some relief.

Do you feel like maybe the pressure is caused by retention? If so, you may need to spend longer in the bathroom and try some deep breathing techniques to help you void without pushing. If that doesn't work, you may need to learn how to self-cath. I had the same pressure feeling and it was due to never really being empty, even when I self-cathed, but at least I got the majority of urine out of my system each time.

My doctor suggested that I lay down with a heating pad underneath me. Place it from the top of the thigh to the lower abdomen. It doesn't matter if you lay on it on your side, back, or front, it is very soothing. Most new heating pads shut off after 2 hours so my doc says you can even go to sleep with it like this under you.
It has helped a lot. Warm baths are wonderful, but they dry my skin if I do it too often. I've also heard that loose clothing is better. I do love to wear my jammies when I'm at home. Plus, percocet has done me wonders on my worst days.......
Good luck.

Pressure is my biggest IC symptom. I empty just fine. I've found that heat helps the most. I often place a heating pad on my abodomen and even down in between my legs a bit. That helps the very most. Be careful with the diet helps, too. I've found that especially drinking something I shouldn't causes my pressure to increase.
