You can get low level type responses from food allergies that show up as headaches or chronic inflammations or mood swings,, etc. from foods that you eat often and are allergic to but you don't know it.
I found out I have allergies - although not the high level type like you break out in a rash or can't breathe - but allergies nonetheless - to salmon and oats. Turns out I was eating oat bran every morning and having a salmon patty for lunch many times each week. I always felt kind of poorly afterwards (burning, a little indigestion- just - "blah") but never made the connection with the food I was eating.
Now I have cut them both out and my bladder feels better. I think I have reduced the low level allergic reaction which showed up as inflammation in an organ (bladder) that was already irritated from a UTI which I had last summer which started the whole damnable problem in the first place (!!)
