I was just curious about what urgency felt like to you. I think that just like other IC symptoms, urgency can feel different from one person to the next also. So I just wanted some input from all you of wonderful ladies!

Feels like I have to pee all the time, no matter whether I've just emptied my bladder or not! Sometimes the feeling fluctuates...gets more intense, then dies down. It's especially bad in the car! Often in conjunction with my bladder feeling inflamed.
That's how mine is too.. it feels like this pressure on my bladder that's saying "okay it's time to pee!" even though I just did a few minutes ago! I hate that.

Yeah, it's torture. Having to pee all the time and never getting that feeling of relief. I sometimes have to go again before I make it out of the bathroom -- but it is improving, recently, with some changes in my treatment. So, have hope!
Peace, Carolyn

Feels like I have this toxic pressure building in my pelvis. If I don't go "right away", I get shakey, nautious, even tearful. It's aweful. They haven't dx'd me with IC. I am still hoping I don't have it They know my urethra is causing me trouble and not my bladder...
" OOPS There it is"
Feels like my eye balls are ready to float on a moment's notice.
I am a counselor for elementary students. I have seen urgency in action for 30 years. Its when you walk tippy toe, knees together across the playground with you bottom stuck high in the air.
Just to let you know, you can walk with your knees together after total knee replacement.
