Where do most people have pain? I get it sometimes on my lower right side around where I have a c section scar and my doctor has checked it out and says it could be from a nerve. Does IC TEND TO MAKE US MORE SENSITIVE EVERYWHERE DOWN THERE?

IC pain can be in several different places at any given timeA few years ago my pain stayed in my side. They took out my appendix and said I was fixed. not! a few years later down the line my paid spread out, then I finally got a dx after getting tossed around by doctors.
so sorry you are in pain. feel better soon.'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

I kept on asking my doc to check it out an she found nothing. She said sometimes after a c section you can have these pains. It can also be a nerve was affected somehow.
Did you have a cyst before and it just went away? Could you feel anything?
Hugs to you too!!

It's so hard to say. It could be your IC, I guess it could be from your C-section. My gyn told me because I have endo I could have adhesions from my C-Section and other abdomenal surgries. Sometimes I feel pain in my bladder and sometimes it's more general in my pelvis. Sometimes it's my back that's killing me. It's all so weird. I hope you feel better.Christine
I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.
I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

I know what you mean it is so hard sometimes to pin point where the pain is coming from. My gyno said you could hurt all the way from your knee's to above your belly button. So I quess it could move around. Mine does.Last edited by mirmir; 05-22-2007, 01:29 PM.I am 28 and have been married for 7years. I have two boys one is 6 and the other 2.
