Tracy, I do think it is weird. I mean my volume went up 4x with just 8 oz of protein shake. I see the PA at my doctor's office on Tuesday. I'll try to remember to ask her too. Let me know what your doctor says! Thank you!

i sometimes void WAAAAAAAAY more than i take in and i dunno why. other times i retain and it sucks. i will be asking my dr. about that tomorrow and will let you know what she says.

LOL, probably not, that is weird though. I think your intake and output should be roughly the same but if you're voiding a lot more than you are drinking that is odd. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Well, the weird thing is that the total volume shot through the roof. I haven't had a protein shake in many weeks and thought I'd give it a shot today. I guess I shouldn't have chosen the first day of my period...

When I get my period I get a horrible flare that will cause pain, frequency and urgency. Having something to eat or drink that I shouldn't have can increase my frequency alot too. I think the only way you're going to know for sure is if you don't use the protein shake and see if you still have the same problem.

Larger Volume and More Frequency
I was wondering if anyone else has this:
When I get my period, I urinate a lot. I go often and large amounts. I will go what seems like 200+ mL and then 20 minutes later put the same amount out. I shouldn't have added a possible food trigger during my period, becaue I don't know if that is the problem or if my period is the problem. I drank 8oz of a chocolate protein shake and urinated a gallon for a couple of hours. Why would a food trigger cause an increase in volume? I don't know, but it seems like my body tries to dilute the urine?
