  • When I pass Gas, Urethra hurts!!

Why would this happen?? Doctors are clueless!

My guess is some involuntary muscle spasm causing the urethra to spasm too? I'm sure you would like a better answer than that but I just don't know what it could be. The nerves are so intertwined in that area it's possible it's just what I said. I hope it stops soon!

04/17/09 Crohn's disease almost killed me with a combo of extreme constipation from pain medications. My bowel ruptured, I almost died from peritonitis and spent several days in the ICU then more in a private room on the floor. If you have any questions about severe constipation from pain meds please don't hesitate to send me a message.

      spasms?

After I read that Headache in the Pelvis book - all these types of pains just sound like muscles that are forever tight but we just don't know it.... I've been curling up in a ball at night to fall asleep - putting knees up seems to relax pelvic muscles - sort of like squatting. PV
I got IC in 1970! I was not diagnosed until 1991. I've tried many drugs and therapies but I tend to only resort to drugs when in a flare because when I am not in a flare (from being good on diet), I suffer only from small bladder volume (like about 7 ozs.) and peeing will relieve the discomfort. When I am feeling relatively normal, I say to myself I am glad I am not on a drug. When I am in a flare, I say, why am I not on a drug! I've recently have been trying to solve my connective issue problems in general. I look to diet and herbs mostly unless it gets really bad. I still think there is great hope for each individual finding a path to healing and there are many.

        I have permanent pubic burning.

I have the sigmoid irritated including bladder involvment.
You describe sigmoid colon pain. The last sigmoid pubic bend before it reach the rectum.THAT'S THE BEST EXPLANATION FOR THIS I'VE FOUND SO FAR!

I think this pain may cause PFD.
