It's so wierd - my symptoms seem to change daily. Earlier this week my bladder was seriously burning and my frequency/pressure were up. Today, my bladder stopped burning and my frequency is fine, but I have a lot of pressure in my groin area and feel liked I've been kicked in the crotch. Rather than my bladder - now my vagina is on fire. What's up with this??

HI! That happens with IC.....it feels like it moves around. I hope the Elmiron will kick in for ya soon as it has for me! Roxie

For IC I use Elmiron, Elavil and Freeze dried Aloe Vera (it works likes Elmiron, but naturally)and Azo as needed. I also take Zegerid, Randitine for Barrett's Esophagus. (which causes me to have constant yeast infections!)I take Cymbalta for Neuopathy/Myopathy pain. I use the Climara patch for menopause symptoms. I'm on a very strict diet because of the IC, IBS and Gastric Bypass. I take Primal Defense Probiotics and whole food Iron.
I no longer have the awful urethral pain! I've been using MSM gel now for 4 mo. and haven't had a flare up or the urethra pain.....it's amazing stuff!!:woohoo: -
Yes, it does feel like it moves around. Unfortunately, I can't keep taking the elmiron. I've taken it for nearly two months and had a continuous headache the entire time. Oh how I wish it worked for me!mom_in_maComment

Maybe you should try the Freeze Dried Aloe Vera. It works like Elmiron but naturally. You can buy it here on this site. I've taken it for almost 2 yrs now and I love the stuff. Roxie
