Does anyone else have cloudy urine? I almost always have it in the morning these days. I used to get it if I drank milk the night before, but now I am off milk and dairy products. Any ideas? Do you think it's just that I'm not drinking enough at night?

Diag Mild IC Jan 11 but have had symptoms for 25 years. Also have GERD, TMJ, IBS-C, chronic dry eye syndrome, hashimotos thyroiditis, non-allergic rhinitis.

I was just wondering about this! My urine is cloudy, but I feel fine, actually better than usual. The only different thing I'm doing is different taking hydroxyzine (trying it again)..can that cause it?
I don't know what to do...I don't have insurance and I just had 2 urine cultures a few weeks ago that were both negative and I have to pay the ridiculous lab bills. I hate to get another one just to be negative again. I've used those home test kits but then I tend to second guess them when they're negative and I'm having symptoms and go to the doctor anyway.~Ashley

Sometimes meds will cause your urine to darken. It is tough to determine a UTI by yourself, are you feverish? Bob does have darker urine from time to time, and most usually during a flare, but it is never an infection. Know the girls get them more than the guys. Force water and see if that clears it up. Always hate to see ICers have to force water, but sometimes it works. Hope you get to the bottom of it and that it is nothing, but don't ignore it if you start to feel lousy or run a fever. Well today my urine is clear and I still feel ok. OTC UTI test was negative. So it may be nothing. But if you have other symptoms or just want to know for sure definitely call your doctor.
Oh yeah, I also read that cloudy urine could be from dehydration, so increasing fluids is a good idea to try.Last edited by LithEruiel; 02-07-2011, 09:46 AM.~AshleyComment

Cloudy urine almost always means a uti for me. A uti in turn kicks my pain up to an almost unbearble level.TexasHoney
