  • Pain Pain Pain

I was wondering if anyone has leg pain. Mine has been hurting for days now. It started in the area between my vagina and anus. Now it hurts below my belly button area and pelvic area. When I walk my left leg will actually hurt to the point of crying and into my back. I do a treatment (cath myself) and it helps for a little while then the pain is back but not as severe. I sit for approx. 6 hours the other day and the pain is worse. I can't sit that long I have to get up and move. So, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this pain or do I need to go to a bone doctor??? Thanks

Sometimes my pain radiates to the my right thigh, usually a more achy pain than anything else. My doctor told me this is pretty normal because of the way the nerves are connected but your pain sounds a lot more severe. If it were me, I would talk to my doctor because it may not be IC related.

yes it goes down my knees and feet to. it could be related to pelvic floor dysfunction. Im considering PT after my laproscopic surgery next month.

If this is a new pain, you really need to see your doctor. We have a tendency to blame our IC for all of our problems --- which is not always the case. There are several different things that can cause leg pain and you need to find out.

              maybe sciatic nerve?

I have also experienced a shooting pain down the back of my leg going to my
knee. Sometimes I feel it in the my buttocks. It reminds me of the sciatic nerve pain I experienced in my four pregnancies. Along with IC, I have been
diagnosed by two DRS as having Adenomyosis. Somewhere I have read, that the enlarged uterus (Adenomyosis) pushes against this nerve causing the pain. Pretty much like pregnancy except nothing joyful at the end of 40 weeks You have my prayers in your quest to get an answer!
