Aloe Vera Juice

Has anyone experienced flare or pain from drinking aloe vera juice? I bought a big bottle of it and it tasted like it would hurt, but, I drank some anyway. Bladder doesn't seem to like it AT ALL.

I thought this stuff was really good for us?

Alot of aloe vera juice have citric acid in it as a preservative. also some of the pills have it also. citric acid usually hurts most IC bladders. desert harvest aloe vera pills are formulated for IC'ers.

You are Soooooo right. I read the label and its citric acid. I felt like I was drinking paint thinner. Lily of the Valley was the brand, I forgot it was Desert Harvest I should have bought. bummer. I bought a big bottle and it wasn't cheap.
