Can anyone tell me: how long do flares last? I've been feeling this way for 6 months now--will I only get relief from treatment(s)???

Vitamin D and B, Green smoothies, infrared sauna use, walking, cleansing, still seeking doctors to help find THE CAUSE of this--autoimmune or infection.

Flares can last weeks, days, hours, a month....I think you can see where I am going with this. What, if any treatments are you using? Are you following the diet? What are your symptoms, knowing what you are feeling will make it easier for other's to offer input from things they have found to help.

Many find relief with heating pads, warm baths and lots of rest.

I hope you find some relief very soon,

I need to follow the diet stricter. I constantly have pressure and discomfort of having to urinate and lately, when I do after 2-3 hours, hardly anything comes out.

It seems to get better with heat. I just wish I could wear this heating pad when teaching the kids; they'd understand. Poor little things...they would have such a happier teacher if I were "myself" again.

I appreciate your responses, as they are much needed for me.

They do make those stick on heat pads, some people find those very helpful and they last about 8 hours. They make one you can put on your lower abdomen and one that will work on your lower back. It's worth a try.

We were just talking about this on another thread but try soaking in a warm tub and if you find you need to urinate while in the tub, do so. It can help a lot.

You will have better days ahead, I am sure of it!!
