  • Frequency but pain ONLY during intercourse?

Hi Ive had constant frequency for a year now. In the process of getting diagnosed. I know there are people like me whose main symptom is frequency. I dont get pain any other time except during sex, where it feels like a sharp stabbing on my right side. I also get urethral burning during & after intercourse which seems to be getting worse.

Anyone else only have 'pain' during intercourse?

    Xx

    I do!

Hello, I have horrible pain with intercourse. Infact, we can't even do it anymore. It feels like my husband's penis has barbs on it. Absolutly horrible.
Hi my name is Lynn. I am a 57 year old woman. I have been dealing with this IC, PFD, Vulvadynia or whatever it is for over 7 years now!! Burning, painful intercourse, painful bladder and problems peeing. It literally came on over night!
I have Fibromyalgia, Reactive Arthritis, Vulvadynia, IC, PFD

Tried but did not help: Physcial Therapy, Bladder Instillations, Cystosopy was normal, acupuncture. Prescriptions: Pyridium, Hydroxyzine, Amitriptyline, Ditropan, Elmiron, Lexapro, Effexor, Lyrica, Nuerontin. Cystoprotek, Vaginal Suppositories made from compounding pharmacy (valium 5mg , Baclofen 5mg, Diphenhyramine 5mg), Osphena. Hormone therapy. Bio Identical, pills, creams. Desert Harvest Aloe Vera.

      pain during intercourse

I was diagnosed with IC earlier this year, but obviously have had it much longer.
For years (at least 10 years) I had pain during intercourse - but very specific pain, in the left of my abdomen. I now know that is where my bladder hurts. So for years my bladder has been hurtin during intercourse - although not every time.
