itching/painful flareup

hi all,
sorry if this is tmi, but what can i do about this horrible itching I have? I can't stand it, and it hurts so bad too. I tried using vagisil cream, but it just seems to make me burn, and I bought some cystex, but that doesn't seem to help either. I'm taking the elmiron, and the Hydroxine, and the evail. To be honest they dont really do anything for me. The hydrozine and the evail, all they do is knock me out, and I can't seem to function the day after i take them. HELP. i'm at my whits end with this IC....

vit e oil helps my skin, i apply it after each time i use the loo, i just put a hole in a cap and rub all over.

The pure vitamin E oil was a life saver for me at times along with baking soda baths and ice. Aveeno oatmeal baths are helpful also- oatmeal can sooth the skin.

I went to the doctor yesterday, she gave me 3 days worth of difulcan and and antibiotic, and a cream. However, I am STILL itching and burning like crazy. I can't stand it . She also is testing my sugar , she said she'd only seemed inflamation like that in someone who is a diabetic. ...waiting on the test results. I am hoping I stop this horrible itching and burning, cause I am going insane.
