Hello So I am having some major pain all day. I am having some major abdominal pain and it is wrapping around to my lower back and I am in so much pain I can't sleep tonight. I have taken extra pain meds hoping that I will stop hurting so I can go to sleep. It isn't looking good.
Does anyone else have this pain, and if so what do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to alleviate it?
    Thank you for your input.

Thank you Donna, I wish that I had felt better this morning unfortunately I didn't. I have not felt very well for the last few days. I am still in pain in the same places today. I am not sure why it is so bad the last couple of days.
I have been taking extra pain meds for the last couple of days. It really is hard to deal with the pain, I can't get comfortable. It is like I am in labor, all of my labors were back labors, and this is really what this feels like.

Kirs! I'm so glad I found someone on here with pain! Not that I'm glad you're in pain. I'm in constant daily pain. I never thought my low back pain could be IC until I started reading that this too is a symptom. Is this correct? My pain is not controlled. Maybe b/c I haven't sought the right dx and right treatment. I do hope you feel better sweetie.

I am so sorry both of you are having such pain. I hope it gets better soon. Try hot baths or showers, and heating pads. They sometimes helped me deal temporarily with bad pain flares.

Kirs10, I have been going through the same thing. I am working with my doctors and it does look like it might be related to my kidneys. Another appointment tomorrow I know for me it was a bout of constipation that made things worse. The only thing that helps is laying still and heat. Hugs and praying we both get some sleep tonight:-)
