    Thanks

    Coopsmom,
I have already read this some months ago. My specialist does not think this is PN but simply 'vulvodynia' (I know it is a descriptive term and not a dx anyway, which frustrates me) but this started with a yeast infection which can cause PFD.

I desperately do not want to go down the route of PN blocks or surgery. I think it will just make things worse.

Do you also suffer with clitoral symptoms?

    Claire

    Clitoral pain

I think there may be some posts on this already but I was wondering if anyone had these symptoms and actually received successful treatment for it.

The nerve meds did not work, this is not caused by ureathra trigger points - these have all gone since pt, and she checks every time. It just comes and goes as it pleases. I have not had this for months, and now it is back. It seems stimulation set it off but it's weird because sometimes stimulation feels great and I don’t get pain at all from it, and I won't know if it is going to hurt until it is too late, this causes sensitivity for days that is so bad that even my underwear moving across my clitoris feels like a needle poking it.

Advice please this is the worst kind of pain I have ever known.

    Thanks,
Working...
