  • Question About Applying

Hello, I have not posted on the ICN for some time. Not that my symptoms ever went away, just that it became so depressing for me to constantly talk about it. I am finally ready to apply for social security and I remember reading a while back about a packet the ICN had put together or something about social security. ? I have looked around the website, even did searches but cannot seem to locate it. ? I started the online process but I remembered others saying that the ICN packet helped them substantially. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. This website has been a lifesaver for me so many times since being diagnosed back in 2001. Thank you in advance for any info.

I don't know about the packet, but just wanted to wish you good luck with the process. I am sure you know this already, but people are usually denied the first time around and you have to appeal...I think they do it on purpose because a lot of people just give up after they get denied...but no matter what your problems are, it's pretty much standard procedure that you will be denied initially...so don't get discouraged if that happens.

Good luck! I hope the process goes smoothly for you.
