Hello,
I took the leap and started the social security disability process! I have an in person interview on Jan 5th.
I was doing some research on what I need and came across an advertisement for a national law firm. I typed in my info and they called me back. I'm not sure what to do. It's not the 25% of my retro that they take, if I win that bothers me. (Don't get me wrong I need the money, but I'll be thankful just to get disability started.) I just wonder if the whole idea of representation is premature? or should I have a lawyer at this point? Any thoughts I am so confused! This probably sounds stupid but I almost think having a lawyer now makes me look guilty or something. eek
