Regarding SS 800 number for info re your case...
DON'T CALL IT! I called my lawyer in a panic when it seemed to appear that my papers were just gathering dust at the local office. My lawyer told me that the info that they have in front of them is often 1-2 months out of date! In my case, it was a month. She told me to contact her when I have any inquiries because she is privy to more up to date info. Thought you'd like to know...
