I applied for SSDI in October last year. Got the perfunctory denial in January this year. And immediately got a lawyer. Reapplied in March, and still working on it. I applied on basis of fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder. Now I have results pending on tests for IC, Sjogren's, and some neurological disease or damage. So everything is on hold now til I get those results back. I'm praying I'll get it this time. If it all goes as it should, I should get my approval in August, assuming the test results get back, and no further testing needed. My lawyer is very knowledgeable, specializes in SS cases, and says he is a poor loser. I know many people he has got the award for.
I suppose my point here is to ask that you cross your fingers for me, LOL. I certainly need all the help I can get!

    Fingers are crossed
The reason lawyers love these cases is because they get 25% when you win. When I applied I was a total emotional wreck and I called lawyer after lawyer. In my area they wouldn't take you on as client until you had been denied twiec.....made the check bigger for them
You are VERY lucky that you got a lawyer so soon and with your bipolar you shouldn't have any problems as long as you've been seeing your shrink for your meds as acheduled.

    wishing you the very best

      HI Scotter,
Would you please check your P.M. I wrote you a letter about SSI.

People may not remember exactly what "you did, or what you said, but- they will always remember how you made them feel"
