    I GOT IT TOO !!!!

    Hey all,
    After 2 yrs.. and seeing the ADJ judge, I got my letter today.. This has been a long 2 year battle for me, and I have won!!! Now I can focus on the IC, not the IC, and how to pay for it, Dr's, meds, hospital's, labs, etc... My prayer's were answered!!!       OMG [img]biggrin.gif[/img] I am soooooooooo happy for you. My battle was only one that took about 8 months and it was he!!........I am just so glad that you didn't let them beat you and you fought for what was rightfully yours!!!!!!!

      p.s. use some of the money to buy something to spoil yourself with, you deserve it after the battle you've been thru [img]wink.gif[/img]

          Hopefully they'll give you some "back pay" to help you catch up.

          I'm very glad you hung in there. It helps other ICers who need to travel that road.

                  CONGRATULATIONS LAURA! I have my disability hearing on 9/19/02 and would appreciate any info you could send me to give to my attorney. I am really nervous because IC is not listed in the book of disabilities. I have been a sufferer for 15 years and quit my job last year due to the pain, etc. Thanks for your help!

                      HI, I have a severe case ( well they say I do) of Ic and I would like to know what I need to do to go about getting SS. I have been turned down by them already, I am young and need advice but the pain is too much I cant work like this. Please help.

                          For Curlyredhead: Most of the ICers who have been approved for benefits were turned down the first time, and many for a second time, before they got their approvals.

                          I know you'll her from others how they did it, but I just wanted to tell you to not give up. You may need an attorney to work with you on this.

                              CONGRATULATIONS!! I am happy for you. I have been on ss for a while. I was approved in 1999. The ICA helped me alot and I had a wonderful attorney. He did not know about IC. I educated him. I had so much DOCUMENTATION that the judge said "Favorable". I highly recommend an attorney and educate them. <img src="graemlins/bunny.gif" border="0" alt="[bunny]" />
