Filing Long-Term Disability Claims/MetLife & SS
I have submitted two long-term disability claims on MetLife policies from my employer. I would like to chat with anyone who has gone through the process (Please feel free to e-mail me privately or on the forum). I want some tips and words of wisdom.
I am thankful to have the coverage, but it is shocking to have to be applying for it. The process of long forms, doctor visits for completion of forms, and gathering medical information is taxing while being sick and sitting being torture. Just summarizing all of the doctor visits and medical procedures is quite a disappointing flash back experience.
Also, I am also applying for Social Security Disability at a federal government office. I purchased the set of books from this website.
