I wish I knew how to do a survey questionaire!

Someone told me it is easier to get SSDI if you are over 55. I don't expect to get monthly $ benifits, but I may need to have medicare sooner then 65 years old.

How old were you when accepted?

I was looking at some stats for Indiana, and was amazed at the difference of being approved, depending on where the claim was filed. Ft. Wayne vs Indianapolis.

Were you accepted on your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd try? Ever?
What were the reasons, you were denied? accepted?

Did you use a lawyer? From the beginning?

    Citracal - osteopenia
    Vitamin D - deficient
    Valium vaginal - as needed
    Prelief - as needed

I don't know the answer to many of your questions, but a lady who used to work where I work went on Soc. Sec. Disability when she was 55 after 3 tries. She was on our workplace disability prior to that. I think the rule was that she had to be on the SS Disability for 2 years before she could get on Medicaid. She had to get Cobra from us in the meantime.

Her disability was not for IC, but for a bone disease.
