  • New Header - is it working for you??

Okay... this new fancy header has a ton of pull down menus to different parts of our site. My question... is it working for you???? It should just be a wide log with six links horizontally aligned beneath it. I don't want to do more fancy stuff until I know this is working.

If it's not working, are you seeing a long list of links instead??? Gods, I hope not! Need your immediate feedback!

It seems like I can see the drop down menus from certain parts of the site but not from others. It seems kind of weird, I can access them while I'm replying but while I was reading your post I couldn't get them to come down.

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

      Diagnosed August 2001

Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.

Again, using both Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox I only see the drop downs on the forum index page and on the reply pages. I can see the titles of the drop down menus on all the pages, but they only drop on the index page and reply pages..

When I have a thread open and pass my mouse over the menu choices the drop downs don't... drop. LOL

Photo illustration as I have far too much time on my hands this evening.

In a thread as I slide the cursor over the menu title nothing drops:

On a reply page - it drops:

Okay... that's just weird. I have no idea why that would work since the template is identical for all elements of the board.

Okay.. I just put up a logo with a white background. Comments??? Seems kinda cold to me. I need a smiling face in there I think!

Kim... I really appreciate the pictures. That's cool! But what's weird is you are getting the dark blue box which means that something is working in that menu. I'm noticing that it won't show the drop downs unless you've let the page load entirely!

That was fully loaded - in fact, it had been loaded for awhile. It happened that way in IE and in Mozilla. I would wait until it was loaded all the way and then try. It is weird. And it's weird that it will drop down on the index page and on the reply pages, but not on individual thread pages...
