So, you ask, how can we change the way that IC is treated? Well, my friends, it's really up to you and me. There is no company out there with thousands or millions of dollars paying for this website. There's no philanthropic IC expert writing patient education materials.
What we do, and how this movement changes, is driven entirely by you and I, IC patients who are willing to make a difference.... and there is SO MUCH THAT WE CAN be doing to help! So, I'm going to use this forum to seek volunteers who can help us on specific projects. Please cruise through and see if any are appealing.
That said, please do NOT volunteer if you intend to disappear in two weeks. We need committed patients who will work nicely with others, who enjoy collaboration and, most importantly, will FINISH the projects that they start!!!! Sorry, but gotta be blunt.
