  • Patricia's post is an inspiration!

I think Patricia deserves the Courage award for this post from yesterday. http://www.ic-network.com/forum/show...877#post314877

She brought tears to my eyes and I know someone, somewhere, is going to read that post and have HOPE! Hope, and knowledge that someone out there is fighting this battle with them, and walking this road before them and alongside them.

You are a true IC Warrior Patricia!!!

Moonheart - The awards are on hold for a bit while the ICN works out some "kinks".
                  Kim

                  Diagnosed August 2001

Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.
