  • AHCC for HPV ...but it's fermented!

Hi. Just a warning. I have HPV16 and I read research and articles saying AHCC can CURE me of this cancer causing
virus...so I tried it and FLARED BIG TIME ...did more research - it is the fact that it is fermented that flared me. ALL AHCC
is fermented (they call it "cultured") and so NONE of it is anything I can use to cure myself and stay alive. This really
saddens me. Just eating Shiitake Mushrooms would not be enough / the treatment for HPV is well established now
and comes from Japan. I'm so bummed that my stupid IC bladder flared on it. I should have known better. However
I do also read the HPV has a good chance of going away and resolving itself by the bodies own immune system without
any supplemental help at all within 2 years so fingers crossed. It can cause cervical cancer and other cancers...I don't have
a cervix (hysterectomy) ...so I wonder if my risk of cancer is less because of that. Any thought on this topic or flare experience
/mine or your own with AHCC is welcomed.

It sounds like you have a real problem. How long have you read it takes for AHCC to be effective? How long did your flare last? Does your doctor have any other suggestions? I'll do some research and see if I can find any helpful information for you.
