Help! I went to the GYN yesterday and was examined. Wow, did that throw me into a flare with PFD. Anyone have an idea what would calm it down? Pain meds are doing nothing.

How about a hot rice pack between the legs or a warm bath with epsom salts (a tablespoon.)? -
PFD Flare
When I have a bad PFD flare I lay down with a heating pad and take 25mg of Elavil, that usually makes me sleepy, I nod off and relax, then the pelvic spasm stops. I found Elavil the best medicine for me and PFD spasms.

Meds: Melatonin 3mg @ bedtime if needed. Estrogen 1.5 mg troche and 0.1 mg Estrace cream.
