Hey Gals.
I am suppose to do my first instill today and yesterday I came down with the flu or a nasty virus. I had a fever and my body aches all over. I woke up this morning feeling a tiny bit better, but still feeling yucky. My son is sick too, he brought it home to us:o)
I am not sure if I should cancel the instill appointment or not. I am so reluctant about doing it. I keep thinking that something bad will come of it or that I will have a bad reaction to the instill. It just seems so unnatural to be injecting medicine up there. I am worried for alot of reasons. First, that it will make me worse, second that I will have a bad reaction to the instill, and third that I will get an infection from it. And me being sick now with this bug is making it all worse.
Geez, this is a hard decision to make. I swear I am so indecisive about this. Part of me says that I should just do it and get it over with, and the other part of me is saying that it is a bad idea that it is not a natural thing to do and there will likely be side effects. I guess the idea of them putting 4 different meds in me kind of scares me. I mean if I had a reaction , I would never know which med it was from. My biggest fear is not being able to pee afterwards and it making my pain worse.
Right now, I already get that feeling like when I pee at times, I dont empty completely and worry that the instill will make this worse. I know there is not way to tell if that will happen unless I do it though.
Well, my appointment is at 2:30, so I will have to make up my mind soon. I was hoping I would feel better though. Thanks gals for listening.
