  • Need advice, Pelvic Pain or bladder pain?

Ok, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this for me. Here is the problem, you know, I've always thought to myself that if anything else ever was wrong with me I would never know it because I'm always in so much pain that I always just assume it's my bladder. Well lately I've finally gotten my bladder to "quiet" down some by sticking to the diet, so this past week the pain has really improved. Now since yesterday I am having terrible pelvic and lower back pain and it feels different from the bladder pain, but how do I know for sure? I HATE going to the Gynecologist because with my abdomen and bladder always on fire, the thought of getting a Pap or Pelvic exam just sends me running. I know that's bad and I am really overdue for it but I moved to a new state and I don't know any gyn's here and I'm so afraid to go. Could it be my bladder but it just feels different? Does anyone else have fears of going for gyn exams like I do because of the pain it causes? Need some advice please.
    thanks,
    Kari

i get these pains too everynow and again and sometimes I panic something else is wrong but then after a few days it calms down.

I had them so bad last night I thought I was going to pass out and had pains accross my back too....ouch!!!

I would say thats its probably referred pain from you bladder BUT if you havent been to the doc recently then I would recommend going as you will have to go sooner or later and you might have bit of an infection.

They can do anything to you that you dont want to remember that. good luck

      Thanks KJD,
I'm hoping that's all it is and it will calm down in a few days, I just worry that if something else gynecological is going on I wouldn't know it, you know? I'm so overdue for my pap and pelvic exam that I'm afraid to go because when I'm in pain I just hate getting them. But it feels like a different pain this time, so I'll give it a couple of days and see if it goes away first before going. Thanks
