    great weekend... now PAIN!

    Hey guys. I havent posted in a while. I've been doing ok IC wise but the drama continues lol. I had such a great weekend Saturday my bf took me for a drive in his 2002 trans am ram air. This car is soooo beautiful arggg I love it. We drove around town for about and hour having fun singing and had the tee tops off and I was just soaking up the sun. Then we went home and I thought it would be nice to wash and wax my car. Did that, boy did my car look sexy after I was finished with it! haha Sunday my bf took my to his Cabin up in Branchville, NJ. (this is where he hunts in fall/winter) I've never been there before. His uncle and cousins live there. They showed me around town and where this huge stream was where people go fly fishing, I wish you all could have seen what I saw. Gosh it was so beautiful... Then we went back to the house and they took me on a hike through the woods and tested my navigation skills as to where the house was. They took me deep in the woods and then made me close my eyes and they turned me around a few times then asked me where the house was. Let me tell you I had no idea!!! It was funny. Then we went back to the house cooked some big steaks and sweet potatoes, yummy! The sat on the back porch and waited for the deer to come. We were sitting and relaxing for almost a 1/2 hour then finally I spotted some deer heading toward the house. There were about 8 of them and they came up on the lawn and ate the bread we were throughing at them. It was such a great weekend.
    Yesterday I woke up with my right eye almost swollen shut. I think I am getting a stie. I had to put hot compresses on it all day. (I called out of work b/c I didn't want to look like kuwazi moto) lol.
    I woke up in a good mood thanks to my bf. The alarm went off and I jumped up and looked at him and said. "babe, how does my eye look?" he said "it looks beautiful... just like you always look beautiful."then he kissed my forehead awwww I'm such a sap lol He never said stuff like that so it was extra special to me. Naturally I woke up in the best mood. Got ready, and decided to drive around the corner to get a bagel and a water bottel b/c I was starving. (I never get breakfast) So I drove parked my car near the train tracks and got my breakfast. As I was pulling out I wasnt looking behind me and back into a parked car. (YIKES!!!) I got out and looked his car was fine, but of course my car has scratches on the bumper and some of the paint came off! MAN I am soo mad... n my bf is gonna lecture me I know it. Crap!! I'm at work now and stressing about my stupid car. I worried so much now I'm flaring. I took my pain med but I'm waiting for it to kick in! this stinks a good day gone bad. All because of my stupid stomach. thanks for letting me vent girls~

      Sounds like you had a dream weekend. If I did all of that I would be in bed for days. Hey, don't worry about your car. I did the same thing last fall, and I said so WHAT, it is just a material thing, no one hurt, so don't let that get your IC going. They sell small paint pens that match most colors on cars now days at Auto supply stores, that is what I did.

          Hey, we're all allowed an occasional bumper scratch --- even a stupid one! (And I'd be willing to bet you won't do that again.......speaking from experience here!).

          It does sound like a glorious weekend. I hope you feel better quickly.

              You know its so nice to hear upbeat post..Gives us all hope that we can have normal days and fun ones at that...I would love to hear more uplifting stories like you just shared...

              Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring

              Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure

              Meds I have Tried:
              Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
              Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
              Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..

              Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
              Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.

              Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

                  Ouch!! My urethra is on fire right now. I'm in so much pain right now that I want to go home. I always feel bad leaving work, but it's hard to work when your mind is focused on how much pain your in. Also I cant keep going to the bathroom and peeing drops. Maybe I can leave for a little until my meds start working. I dont know what to do.
