I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time. Try to relax and just take good care of yourself! It sounds like you hubby is helpful, so maybe he can help with the kids and let you rest. I hope your kitty returns, they usually always come back. Mine has gone missing several times before and then she shows up again!
    Take care!!

That sounds horrible! I hope you feel better after your appts.

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

Thank goodness you didn't have to pee while you were stuck on bed.

                one big spaz!

I just saw the nurse practioner my back is a muscle spasm! pretty bad. I see the chrio today. She wants me to stay home today & wed. I don't know how that will work out with work. I am on norcos now plus back to the ibuprofren again!
I think that the pain from my bladder is the reason I am dealing with the back spasm now.
I told my husband it is time to trade in for a newer model!!!

LOL, I know what you mean, sometimes when I'm flaring it will cause my lower back to go into one big spasm that HURTS the only way to get rid of it is to lean against the heating pad for like 10 minutes but then mine go away. Hope you feel better soon.
