    Help I wanna scream !!

    I feel yucky right now being diagnosed not even a week yet. Eating almost nothing cause I cant tolerate it! Drinking tons of water its all I drank for the 2 years!
    Been on my heating pad for 3 days and it's all coming back again kidney pain(severe),pressure,frequency,fever and I'm feeling soooo sad!!!!Taking my med's (except vicodin) caused me seizures.The dilaudid seems to cut the edge but it still is pretty painful!!! I feel bad saying why is this happening to me ! Because its happening to so many other people. It just seems so unfair to have to be in this condition for sooo long. My biggest mistake I'm learning is thinking there is going to be a quick fix. I do have a doctor appt. tomorrow so hopefully they can help me cause this pain feels worse than any I have had before !

      Welcome, Kelly! hi I am sorry you are feeling so badly, it is so discouraging. You are right to think that there is no quick fix...at least for most of us. It may take a bit of time for you and your doc to come up with the right combo of meds. Did you see out IC diet? Maybe it can help you with what you can start adding into your diet.                   Thank you for the huggs and kind words. I am so sad that so many people have this problem! BUT I am sooo greatful that I am no longer alone! You all r so wonderful this is the first week in the last year that I have not had to sit and cry all by myself.I am still struggling with was I better off not knowing or am I better now that I know I have IC. I am glad I know finally I am not crazy and my pain is real . I just wish so many people did not have to suffer.

                      I'm glad you are seeing your doctor soon. Hopefully you will get something to help with your pain without side effects. And If you do have a side effect from a medication, it's always okay to call your doctor as soon as it happens --- often they will be able to order something different without your having to wait for an appointment.

                          In my case I have no doctors willing to help me right now. I have a new uro and pcp appointments set for next week so hopefully I'll get the help I need.
                          The only doctor I still have is obgyn I did call her and she told me we will discuss our options tomorrow!
