  • my bladder hurts. :(

I am in a flare and my bladder hurts. I didn't want to come here and tell you all that I am in a flare again. drinking my water and taking my pain meds and urimax. I came home from work today at my usal time, took my meds and layed down and prayed and prayed and rested. My bladder is playing tug of war. I know I have one more month to go before I get the insterm in. I know it is not for pain. I have had the oppurinty to talk to a couple of people here on the site about their insterm and was able to call 2 people that had it done from my drs office. I am going to let him give my number out to people to help them. I have heard such good results about the insterm. I know there are some negavite stories out there and I am at peace with it. . NOw if I can get rid of this flare, I will be ok. Fran, a friend of mine at work said you don't look good today, I said Id on't feel well. Dad has been asking how I am feeling, I finally went to him a few minutes ago and told him I was in a flare and that my bladder was hurting me, and he said maybe tommorow it will be better. He is coming around slowly. I love you all. Just frustated with the flares and the pain. Thanks all for your support and prayers and thoughts. I am here for you also.
Hang in there , There is hope.

My bladder feels better, fighting a sore throat right now, woke up at 2 am with it. didn't go to work today and had to hear it from Dad again. I wish he would realzie that I am not faking when I am sick or in pain. I am gargling with the salt water trick and my upper arms hurt me today too for some reason. I don't know if it is by being by the cold doors at work. Thanks for your support.

              Deb,
sorry to hear about your flare! I am flaring also and trying not to take any narcotics cause I worry about getting "hooked"! It seems I hurt all the time now, am waiting to try a treatment called e-stem? Don't know much about it but everything else has failed so I figured what the heck.
              Feel better soon!

I hope the interstim works for you let us know.
                    I will pray for you.

                      Hi Deb,

I too have decided to do the trail inner-stem. It is set up for March 1. I told them to go and get it approved and it generally takes 4-6 weeks to get it approved. I have heard great things about it and went to a conference with a Medrontic Rep. there. It was very helpful and made me at ease with making my decision. I am scared and nervous about the whole thing though!!! But at this point in our lives we don't have anything to loose by doing the 7 day trail. Good Luck!!!!!!
