  • Insane pressure

    Hi all,

I have a uro appointment with a new doc at the beginning of February, but have been in horrible discomfort for 3 weeks now. I am dealing with pain but the worst part is the terrible urgency and pressure that never goes away. I had another doctor rule out a UTI. I've been eating very safe foods, taking Prelief, and tried heat and AZO, but nothing seems to be helping. Any ideas to get me through the next month? This is seriously getting to me.

Can you get in to see your primary care physician for some help with pain? You might ask about something to help relax your muscles --- it sounds like you may be having bladder spasms.

    Sending warm healing thoughts,
    Donna

My primary care dr. doesn't have a clue. She didn't really understand the whole IC thing when I tried to describe the pain and pressure to her. I live in DC and it's nearly impossible to get in to a new dr. here, but I'm switching primary care physicians too.
