    My bladder won't let sleep

    I dozed off on the couch about 9:30pm and slept kinda lightly until midnight. (Hubby is out of town on business) I was awaken by a horrible throbbing sensation toward the left side of my bladder. It's feels like it's where the urine enters from the ureter on that side. My pain is usually more in the center of my bladder and in the urethra. It feels like it is coming in waves every five to ten seconds. This is extremely uncomfortable. The acidy feeling I had in my bladder earlier in the week has subsided for the most part and most of the day yesterday all I had to deal with was a constant ''gotta go" feeling and burning during urination. Since I'm 6 months pregnant I have frequency and urgency pretty much 24/7 but I have overall had less pain for majority of pregnancy but this flare is making my life miserable. So here I am at my computer at 3:20 am doing a little venting and wishing I had a normal bladder so I could have an easier pregnancy. I hope I'm not boring any of you with my whining. I'm just very frustrated with my bladder. Thanks for reading my post.

          Whin all you want, I can't help you but I can listen.

          I had 3 very hard pregnacies.

          Was hospitalized for pain with my 3rd, they figured I had an appendicitics, this was before IC diagnoses, now I figure it was a flare. End then I figured out if I didn't eat at all I felt somewhat better, not a great idea for preg.

          I would have had more children but for me they were just too bad, maybe now with a diagnoses, they would not have been so hard on me.

              Maybe that babe is just sitting on your bladder, but you might want to get it checked out if it doesn't go away soon. And shoot, it's the weekend. Are you running a fever? If you do, time to go get checked for sure, or not being able to pee. Take care of yourself. Jill, wife of Bob
